School Tools and Teacher Tool-kit
ed.Voicethread ($1/student per year) We purchase all students and teachers ed.voicethread accounts. Students can also set up free voicethread accounts; we prefer the privacy and account controls of the paid version since we use this tool throughout our courses for assignments and materials.
Sliderocket (approx $1/student per year) We purchase all students and teachers sliderocket accounts with their deeply discounted educators version. We use SSO through google apps to avoid the hassle of creating extra accounts. Free (with limited features) sliderocket accounts are also available.
Jing and Jing Pro (free for students, Jing Pro for teachers $14.95/year)
Oneeko (all students use the free version for screensharing with teachers and each other; teachers use the paid version- $50/year- that adds in the whiteboard and screenshot annotation ability)
